ATTENTION: ALL Online Subscribers- The member area contains your
newsletter and no other information at this time. In the future, F.A. will be
evaluating additional services in the membership area. After you have subscribed, you will
be receiving an email with your newsletter attached and you will be receiving your
username and password to access the newsletter from the website. This two fold process
ensures you will get your newsletter in the most timely manner. Suggestion:
It is important to follow the steps below in order to access the member area from the
website. If you do not want to access your newsletter from the website, then send me an
email at (Customer Support) and request that I send your
copy via email. After I have verified your subscription status, I will reply to your
request via email with your newsletter attached (file attachment-PDF format). After
receiving your newsletter via email, you can open it with the Adobe Acrobat Reader and
print it at your location.
All of the Financial Forecast Newsletters are in a PDF (Portable Document
Format) file format. Documents in PDF preserve the exact look and content of the
originals, complete with fonts and graphics, and they can be distributed by e-mail or
stored on the World Wide Web, an intranet, a file system, or CD for other users to view in
Microsoft-Windows, Mac OS, and UNIX-platforms.
IMPORTANT:
If you are subscribing to the Financial Forecast
newsletter or would like to download and/or view past issues (Archives) , you will need to
install the Adobe Acrobat reader on your computer. The newsletter cannot be read by any
other computer program. Adobe Acrobat Reader is available FREE, and for downloading from the Adobe website. The
Acrobat Reader lets you view, navigate and print Portable Document Format (PDF)
files.
Step One:
Before installing the latest version of the Adobe
Acrobat Reader, we strongly recommend that you remove earlier
versions of the Adobe Reader from your computer (for example- version 2.0, 3.0 ). Next,
please close any programs you have open before installing the Acrobat Reader.
Step Two:
Adobe Reader---This link
will take you to Adobe's download section for the FREE Acrobat Reader. The instructions to
download the Reader are 3 easy steps.
Step Three:
After you have downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader and have installed it on
your computer, you are ready to download and/or view your newsletter.
After installing the Reader, please follow the steps below to adjust
your preferences in the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
1. Open your Acrobat Reader 4.05 program.
2. Click at the top left corner (File) and come down to (Preferences) and go to (General
preferences)
3 You should see the General Preference screen. Look towards the bottom right-side of the
screen and find (Web Browser Integration).
4. If there is a Check in the box , then (uncheck the box).
5. Click the O.K. button to save the changes.
5. Return to the Member Area of the Financial Forecast website(look to the left side on
the home page) and click on the issue you are subscribed. This will take you to an area
which requires you to type (lowercase letters only) in your login and password.
Next, click on enter secure area. Finally, depending on how you have configured your
browser, you can download your newsletter and/or view your newsletter in your browser.
6. You should see the standard Microsoft window screen to either open the
file at the location or save to disk.
7. Click save to disk, then click O.K.
8. Next, a window screen will pop up called Save as (This is the screen that lets you pick
the location as to where you will download your newsletter)- Look to the right of the Save
in - choose a location (I usually choose my desktop or you can use your own location. i.e
Folder called "downloads" or "My documents").
9. Last, After downloading the file to your location, click on the Adobe Icon (newsletter)
and your Acrobat Reader will launch and open your newsletter..
Step Four:(Final)
Print your newsletter with your printer.
